I chose to transform a photo of an ordinary object – a lamp at home (click the left thumbnail to see the original B&W photo before the transformation) – without the use of one. While the original picture is black and white, my use of a camera and a normal printer gradually turned it into a color one and changed its look. I never intend to kill the image. All I want is to change it with a camera which does not only help capture an object at a particular moment but is also capable of enabling transformation.

一部相機加一部打印機將一幀黑白照（上面的黑白照）轉化為另一幀彩色照。首先我將家中的一盞燈用黑白菲林拍低，然後用一部數碼相機番拍黑白照為彩色照，再將它打印出來，並將這個過程重覆了多次。為的是探索攝影的可能性。
此作品爲「聽、見、想、像」展覽而創作。「聽、見、想、像」是一個關於探索口述影像與視覺藝術之間的關係的展覽。創作人爲作品撰寫的口述影像可於此網頁收聽。
